Electric Mercedes VLE in Paris: up to 8 seats, over 700 km WLTP and 355 km in 15 minutes
The new Mercedes-Benz VLE has a 115 kWh battery, 800-volt architecture, charging above 300 kW and up to 713 km WLTP. German pricing starts at €82,260.

Mercedes-Benz brought the new VLE to the Paris Motor Show, a luxury electric MPV that wants to feel more like a limousine than a van. It seats up to 8 people across three rows.
The numbers
According to "Mercedes-Benz Media":
- 115 kWh usable NMC battery and 800-volt architecture;
- more than 700 km WLTP (up to 713 km for the VLE 300 with the Advanced Plus package);
- charging at over 300 kW: up to 355 km in 15 minutes;
- VLE 300: 203 kW, front-wheel drive; VLE 400 4MATIC: 310 kW, 0–100 km/h in 6.5 s;
- 5.31 m long, almost 800 l of luggage space with three rows, up to 4,078 l with the seats out.
Limousine comfort
AIRMATIC air suspension and rear-axle steering give it a turning circle of just 10.9 m, similar to a CLA. The sliding doors are powered and the tailgate glass opens separately.
Mercedes says a single short charging stop covers trips of about 1,000 km. Charging at 400-volt stations needs an optional DC converter. A long-wheelbase version (5.48 m) and two LFP versions with 80 kWh batteries follow in 2027.
In Germany, the VLE 300 with the Advanced Plus package starts at €82,260.
