Peugeot RCZ Vision: a 500 hp electric coupé with a solid-state battery and 10–80% in 10 minutes
Peugeot revives the RCZ name with a four-seat electric GT concept: 500 hp, up to 600 km of range, a solid-state battery just 110 mm thick, a 1,000 V architecture and 10–80% charging in 10 minutes.

Peugeot is bringing the RCZ name back into the spotlight. At the Paris Motor Show, the brand revealed the RCZ Vision, a four-seat electric Grand Touring concept with 500 hp and up to 600 km of range. Its solid-state battery charges from 10 to 80% in just 10 minutes.
Successor to a collector's coupé
The original RCZ (2009–2015) has since become a collector's car. According to "Peugeot", the RCZ Vision picks up its key ideas: the "double bubble" roof, the roof arches and an active spoiler that stays hidden when the car is parked. It is also the first expression of the new "Feline Future" design language that will shape future Peugeot models.

Solid-state battery and 1,000 V
The concept uses an architecture based on the STLA One platform and a solid-state battery developed with Factorial Energy, just 110 mm thick. The 1,000 V electrical system allows charging from 10 to 80% in 10 minutes. The consumption target is 11.5 kWh/100 km WLTP, a figure Peugeot has yet to confirm.

Hypersquare, Steer-by-Wire and transparent screens
The driver gets Hypersquare, the same production version that will feature in the next E-208. Steering is fully electronic (Steer-by-Wire), with less than one turn from lock to lock. The RCZ Vision is also the first Peugeot with Brake-by-Wire, for finer braking and better energy recovery. The new i-Cockpit uses transparent Micro LED displays: the central one can be switched off entirely and virtually disappears from the dashboard.
