Tesla has extended its Assisted Driving (FSD Supervised) demo rides in Europe once again. On October 13, the account "NotAnFSDTracker", which follows the system's progress across the continent, posted updates for four countries: Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Hungary.

What the demo rides are

A Tesla employee drives while the customer watches how the system handles real traffic. In most of Europe, FSD Supervised is not yet approved for owners, so demo rides are how Tesla shows it to the public while it waits for approval.

Why the extension matters

An extension means Tesla is keeping the campaign going rather than ending it after the first phase. It is not an approval, but it shows Tesla wants to keep the system in front of European buyers until regulators decide. The post does not list new end dates for each country.

Hungary, Romania's neighbour

For drivers in western Romania, Hungary is the closest country with demo rides; Budapest is a short drive from Oradea, Arad or Timișoara. It is the easiest way to see FSD Supervised in action before it reaches Romania. For the approval status, see our FSD Supervised in Europe guide.
