Tesla Model 3 gets upgrades in Europe: 16-inch screen, black headliner and a 4-second Premium AWD. What it costs in Romania
The European Model 3 gets a 16-inch center screen with higher resolution, a black headliner, Zen Grey interior and 19-inch Dark Nova wheels. Premium Long Range AWD now does 0–100 km/h in 4.0 s. Romanian configurator: €49,990 and 660 km WLTP.
After the US, it's Europe's turn. According to "The Tesla Newswire", Tesla rolled out several upgrades for the European Model 3 on the evening of October 8.
What the European Model 3 gets
- a 16-inch center touchscreen with higher resolution and pixel density (up from 15.4 inches);
- a black headliner;
- a Zen Grey interior;
- 19-inch Dark Nova wheels on the Premium trim.
"The Tesla Newswire" also lists two performance changes:
- Premium Long Range AWD now does 0–100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, down from 4.4 s;
- Performance WLTP range rises to 600 km, up 29 km from 571 km.
What it costs in Romania
We checked Tesla's Romanian configurator. The two versions side by side:

The 4-second time for Premium AWD already shows on the Romanian site. At a Supercharger, the configurator promises up to 275 km added for Premium AWD and up to 286 km for RWD.
600 or 660 km?
The 600 km figure in the post is for the Performance, not the Long Range. In Romania, the Premium Long Range AWD is rated at 660 km WLTP, more than the Performance. That's expected: the Performance has bigger wheels and more power, so it uses more energy. "The Tesla Newswire" did not mention any range change for the Long Range. Our screenshot doesn't include the Performance, so we have not confirmed the 600 km figure on the Romanian site.
