XPENG brought its new flagship SUV, the G9L, to the Paris Motor Show and opened orders right away. According to the "XPENG" press release, prices start at €74,600 (German list price incl. 19% VAT), with first customer deliveries in December 2026.

European cars are built by Magna in Graz, Austria, which already makes the G6, G9 and P7+. The G9L is XPENG's fourth model there and launches in 64 countries and regions.

The numbers

  • 5.12 m long, 3.10 m wheelbase, six or seven seats in three rows.
  • 110 kWh NCM battery, 800 V architecture, up to 540 kW charging: 10–80% in under 12 minutes.
  • RWD Long Range Ultra (7 seats): 367 hp, up to 591 km WLTP, from €74,600.
  • AWD Performance Ultra: 585 hp, 0–100 km/h in 4.9 s, up to 553 km WLTP, from €79,600 (6 seats) or €85,600 (7 seats).

It gets air suspension, rear-wheel steering (11 m turning circle), a 367 l boot (up to 1,330 l) plus a 65 l frunk, 2 t towing and 6 kW V2L. Google Maps runs on the 17.3" screen.

The big bet is driver assistance: XPENG's own Turing chips and VLA 2.0 are meant to enable NGP Level 2++ assisted driving only from 2027 via OTA, subject to local approval. Warranty is 7 years/160,000 km for the car and 8 years for the battery.
