After the Model 3, it's the Model Y's turn. According to "Ronny Golisch", Tesla updated the acceleration figures in its German configurator this morning.

What changed in Germany

Model Y (Germany) Before Now
Premium AWD 4.8 s 4.6 s
Performance 3.6 s 3.5 s

The figures are 0–100 km/h. "Ronny Golisch" says a new motor may be behind the change, but Tesla hasn't confirmed that. It's not yet clear whether this is a hardware or software change, or whether it applies to cars already delivered.

What Romania shows

We also checked Tesla's Romanian configurator. Premium Long Range AWD already shows 4.6 s, the new German figure.

Premium Long Range AWD €53,990 622 km 4.6 s
Rear-wheel drive (RWD) €40,990 525 km 7.2 s

Our screenshot doesn't include the Performance, so we haven't yet confirmed whether it's down to 3.5 s in Romania too. We'll update once we check.

The Model Y was also Germany's best-selling car in September, and the quicker sprint comes with no announced price change.
